Welcome to Open Mouths Get Fed! My name is Liz and I am so happy you stopped by my slice of these vast interwebs. I am a 30-something New York native who is currently enjoying the lower cost of living in Chicago.
For years I have doled out personal finance and career advice to my friends and family. Most of it has even been solicited and welcomed. I figured that they may not be the only people who would value my insights so I started Open Mouths Get Fed. The name speaks to my love of eating, but it also encapsulates speaking up to ask for what you need and want. It’s about resourcefulness. I am hoping that sharing my journey to greater financial freedom and career autonomy will resonate.
